I became a coach because I have seen the difference that good leadership can make.
Over more than 15 years in account management, strategic partnerships and commercial leadership, I have led teams, managed complex client relationships and worked with senior stakeholders across financial services, technology and professional services. I have operated in roles where results matter, priorities compete, and leaders must make decisions without always having a clear answer.
Today, I lead a team of account managers with responsibility for a £500 million sales portfolio. I have also led teams through organisational change, built development programmes, established new ways of working and coached managers preparing for promotion.
Earlier in my career, I held senior account management and commercial roles across multinational organisations. I managed strategic partner relationships, negotiated contracts, improved operational performance and worked across complex teams to deliver for clients. These experiences taught me that leadership is rarely about having a perfect framework. It is about understanding people, making sound decisions and taking responsibility for what happens next.
The part of leadership I have always found most valuable is helping people develop. I have created structured development programmes, coached managers towards promotion, led culture and inclusion initiatives, and supported people through changes in role, confidence and responsibility.
My approach is grounded in practical leadership experience and supported by formal study. I hold an MSc in International Business Leadership and Management with Distinction and have completed further development in management, leadership and board advisory work.
I do not coach from the sidelines. I continue to lead people and deal with the realities of modern organisations. I understand the pressure of balancing team needs, commercial expectations, senior stakeholders and your own development.
That means our conversations remain connected to the situations you are facing at work. We will make space for reflection, but the purpose is action.
