aBOUT ME

I'm Ian Jefferies, founder of LeadReady Coaching.

For more than 15 years, I've built and led teams, managed complex client relationships, and worked with senior stakeholders across professional services, financial services and technology. Today, I lead a team of account managers  supporting a £500 million portfolio and helping people develop the skills, confidence and judgement needed to succeed in leadership roles. 

Along the way, I've learned that leadership is rarely as straightforward as books and training courses suggest. Most leaders struggle because they're balancing competing priorities, managing difficult conversations, navigating organisational politics, and trying to deliver results through other people while continuing to develop themselves.

I've experienced those challenges first-hand. I've led through organisational change, coached managers preparing for promotion, built development programmes, improved team performance and supported people through some of the most important transitions in their careers. Watching individuals grow in confidence, overcome obstacles and achieve more than they thought possible has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my own leadership journey.

That's what led me into coaching.

Alongside my leadership experience, I hold an MSc in International Business Leadership & Management. I have also completed further development in coaching, leadership, management and board advisory practice. 

I'm also a charity trustee  where I support organisation's strategic direction and development.
